Y'know, Glen Johnson is an almost. He has fought for so many titles with so many sanctioning initials after them that I didn't think about him losing to Bute right after losing to Froch. Well floyd patterson did after losing to ingo and liston. Maybe joe walcott did also? By the use of the word undisputed I think maybe your subject is from the modern multi belt era and fought for a unified title?
Remember, no immediate rematches. This guy actually received 2 title shots and had lost his previous bout both times. Uncanny as it is it did happen.

Good try on both counts, dude, but Judah and Hill's losses to Baldomir and Hearns respectively were title defenses. It doth appear that Abe Simon was the only fighter to get a shot at the crown twice by losing his previous bout. Scartissue
