- Won his division's world title in extremely unique circumstances, never done before or since. - Fought for over twenty years. - Slick (but not black) counterpuncher - Heck of a straight right. - Sometimes unfairly labeled as chinny. - Once got a chance to box the childhood idol that first inspired him to lace up gloves.
Nicely done. :good I figured it would be a "gimme" in Classic, but wasn't sure in here. It was an awful lot of clues. :yep
:readthre: Breidis Prescott KO1 Amir Khan Most people have Khan somewhere up there in the p4p rankings, don't they? Matthysse lost tight to Prescott in the amateurs.
Thanks. The first clue actually gave it away right at the beginning for me. Maybe I should have left it for somebody else to solve. Anyway, are you doing another one? If not, I might try my hand at one.
OK. This is a bit harder, I suspect: Rematch king - I am still active, though not well known. - Ive only won slightly more than 50% of my pro fights. - In my first 17 fights I fought the same guy 5 times, winning all of the fights (the last 3 via SD), plus 3 other guys twice, 2 of which have the same last name. - I fought for a world title once, but fought four guys in total, who at one stage in their career held a world title, three of them in a row. - At one point in my career I fought six fights in a row, in which I faced 3 fighters twice each. I didnt win any one of those fights and got stopped in 3 of them. One opponent is a multiple world champion, one a world title challenger, and one is a nobody.
