The first clue actually gave it away right at the beginning for me. Maybe I should have left it for somebody else to solve.
Anyway, are you doing another one? If not, I might try my hand at one.

 

OK. This is a bit harder, I suspect:


Rematch king

- I am still active, though not well known.

- I’ve only won slightly more than 50% of my pro fights.

- In my first 17 fights I fought the same guy 5 times, winning all of the fights (the last 3 via SD), plus 3 other guys twice, 2 of which have the same last name.

- I fought for a world title once, but fought four guys in total, who at one stage in their career held a world title, three of them in a row.

- At one point in my career I fought six fights in a row, in which I faced 3 fighters twice each. I didn’t win any one of those fights and got stopped in 3 of them. One opponent is a multiple world champion, one a world title challenger, and one is a nobody.

 

Pacquiao or Mayweather ....right? those are like the only two fighters that exist
