Obviously at they're weight, noone is saying that there better than Pac and Mayweather. But these two have been screwed over by Golden Boy, PBC and the powers that be so much that they will likely be forgotten and never remembered as the great fighters they should be.

If Lara got every decision he deserved, then he'd have beaten Canelo Vanes twice Trout Tall Paul and Jarrett Hurd. He'd also be undefeated. Trout would've beaten Cotto Canelo and both Charlos. His only losses would be to Lara and Hurd.

These two have been robbed of a great legacy I feel and it's clear when watching their fights that they are clearly better than Canelo & the Charlotte twins.

Hurd knocked Lara down in the twelfth in what was a close fight. That knockdown carries weight. Hurd outlander him in punches. Bad decision maybe, but it won’t take from their career legacy.

One loss here or there doesn’t diminish a legacy at all. Ali, Joe Louis both had losses and are considered the best. Their legacy was more than having a zero in their loss column.

It is a huge stretch in my opinion to say “if he got every decision...” That’s not realistic and in the Hurd case, he didn’t deserve the win. However it sucks when the calls don’t go your fighters way.

Where did he use the word robbed? He said they had their legacies robbed from them, which is true if they got the decisions most felt they deserved. Whether the fights themselves were close is irrelevant, as he didn't call any of the fights themselves as robberies but that Trout and Lara were essentially robbed of far more successful careers.

    Which I wholeheartedly agree with.

Basically Lara and Austin are the mummy and daddy of the entire current division.

In a fair world, yes. But that will never be a very widely held view.

I put “decision they deserved” and “legacy robbed” together however you are correct. There was no specific cry of robbery. We all make mistakes and I misinterpreted it. Will edit. Thank you. Editing done.

Try telling a casual fan that Austin Trout is a better fighter than Canelo.

That's how underrated Canelo resume is, Green Canelo beat both in close decisions, Current version of Canelo easliy beats them.

Oh a super middleweight beats junior middles? Ya don't say!

    ...and he wasn't that green.

    ...and oughtn't have 'beaten' either.

You worked “oughtn’t” into a sentence! Correctly as well. Well done Sir and or Madam.

Obviously Canelo was not the same of today and I'm not talking about "size" Canelo has improved over the year's... Canelo was probably not green when they fought him but he was not as good as he is today.

Current Canelo might beat them. However, when they did actually fight, he got some favourable judging to help him get those wins.

You can repeat that lara won to canelo 10000 times it will not make it true. Lara threw the last part of the fight, and the whole fight with it. It was disgusting to witness. I dont know a word in english to express how disgusting it was to witness actually. It was HIS fault, and noone else's, and because of that you cannot call it a robbery. I never, NEVER, give a round because of agression, I just dont like to do it, and I would give those rounds to canelo. That disgusting it was. Lara is a very good fighter, but he lost to a GREEN canelo in a razor close decision (because 23 yo is GREEN).

    Todays canelo would destroy lara.

EDIT: canelos evolution and improvement has not only been HUGE since then, amazingly HUGE, but obvious too. Still the same feet-of-stone guy, but 10 times better fighter. It's amazing how he has improved.
