Canelo has been exposed since the whipping his step daddy Floyd gave him back in 2013. Since then he has beaten 2 unprepared highly certified bums and got another gift by SD from a paid Golden Boy judge.
Come November Cotto's mighty left hook will crumble the red Mexican like Chile' being sprinkled on a burrito. Cotto has a new hunger and has paid his dues in boxing to fight who ever and whenever he feels.
Trout beat both fighters in the same fashion but Canelo was of course helped along by his sugar daddy Oscar. Cotto and Roach know that Canelo has limited stamina and as the rounds wear on his power decreases. Cotto will drown El Cinnamon in the late rounds and finish him in fashion. Oscar will cry, take a snort, and cry some more.:bbb

Canelo came closer to beating Trout (it should have been a draw) and Cotto didn't, your argument is dead in the water.:deal

Both Canelo and Cotto have a fighter-boxer style. Should be a good fight. Canelo by the late stoppage.

Negative CST. Trout can box and Cotto was not prepared for fight he thought was a cake walk. This new knockout king Cotto is far more versatile and has the energy of a young fighter.
Canelo is the one that is DIW.

Cotto fought Trout right after losing to Mayweather. He performed worse than usual on that fight. I imagine it should be difficult to motivate yourself for a $1m fight months after making $10m. He probably underestimated Trout as well. Canelo however fought Trout while the Mayweather fight was building up. He fought a lower profile Angulo after facing Mayweather, which was in my opinion a wise pick.

Na hell no, Trout at best might of earned a draw, but he didn't do enough to beat Canelo. I don't think he really did enough to beat Cotto either, Cotto clearly won the first half and Trout the 2nd half of the fight to be fair. It wasn't no one sided fight, folks tend to forget about that.

Canelo edged out well deserved victories over both Trout and Lara. Trout clearly beat Cotto and IMO Lara would too. All three are better than Cotto and Canelo will prove it(if and when the fight takes place).

Lara fight was a draw at best for Canelo, he didn't edge it. Change the trunks and Lara would win even wider. Some judge scored it 117-111 for Canelo. That's almost as corrupt as it gets. He edged Trout with the knock down, that's what he edged.

GTFO, Lara won 5 rounds at best. 7-5 for Canelo. Some of you need to realize
that running doesn't automatically earn you rounds.

Lara outlanded Canelo on 7 rounds whereas Canelo outlanded Lara in merely 3 rounds. One would be hardly biased to score the fight in favor of Canelo, i.e. 2 of the judges.

Cottos lose to trout reminds me of morales loss to Raheem in many ways.

    Silly argument on your part...!

Styles make fights and Cotto's fight vs Trout was a disfunctional time for Cotto, ill prepared and still a close fight.

If you expect the same Cotto that faced Trout when he meets up against Canelo,,,then you are simply delusional ! :yikes

Cotto wins this by decision, I am fairly certain.

After as few heavy exchanges Cotto will get on his bike and just look to survive.
