youre pretty much looked as an idiot here on the forum...you do realize that, right? please, put me on your ignore list. youre like 15 years old. what happened to that gay avatar you had of some little girl?
Floyd hurt Cotto worse in the last round than Trout did to him the whole fight. The main reason Cotto didn't look unscathed from the Trout fight is because the beatdown from Margarito (and then another beatdown from Manny) basically turned him paper-faced and permanently damaged his punch resistance and the durability of his skin. Cotto did not get hit much at all in the Margarito rematch, and still didn't look too good in the aftermath of that fight. Floyd marked him up pretty well also. His face and chin held up much better to punches before Margarito and Pacquiao than it ever has since. Besides, you can't really use facial damage as the one decider of who won a fight. Marquez looked worse than Pacquiao at the end of their third fight based on facial damage, but you hardly see anyone on this board mentioning that or arguing that. Same with Oscar vs. Mayweather; DLH looked much better at the end of that fight than Floyd. You don't see many people arguing Oscar won though. The best way to determine how much a guy is getting hurt is watching for if they get wobbled, stunned, staggered, or KD'd. Floyd wobbled Cotto pretty good for a few seconds at the start of round 12, which is more than Trout hurt Cotto in the whole fight, even though he won the fight more clearly than Floyd did.
Never saw Floyd hit Cotto so hard that he turned away and ran away from the fight. LITERALLY RAN AWay. LOL
I was suprised it took so long(maybe the 8th rd) before the commentators finally caught on and started mentioning Oscar was blocking the majority of Floyds shots with his gloves, Oscar only really started eating shots late in the fight after he'd tired
Technically good as Canelo, and who has Canelo fought that's good to see if he is actually as technically good as we think
Trout isn't known for his power, but more for his size and boxing skills. He has a great jab which will keep Canelo at bay, but I agree that Canelo will pressure him and get the win, but by decision.
Trout is getting a bit overrated, imo. Maybe he proves me wrong and makes this a highly competitive fight, but imo this fight is being seen to be much more competitive then it will actually be by most fans. Canelo will ride a wave of 'Canelo beat Trout, who was supposed to be a competitive fight for him' and have huge momentum, but in reality this should be nothing short of a W for Canelo. The question is will it come by decision, or by stoppage. That all being said, Trouts a good fighter and this was the fight that should have been made for the division. Cant wait.
