Trout didn't come up with any excuses. He kept it a secret. He said the team walked into the room after the fight and saw how swollen his ankle was.

So you can say his team is making excuses, but not Trout

I don't get why boxing fans are so reluctant to accept that fighters get injuries and those injuries change fights?

Anyone who has played any sport knows that playing on with an injury, even a minor one, limits what you can do physically and can pretty much ruin the game/fight for you. It's just reality.

 

So many to name it's no wonder how I could forget Thurman. Thurman is part of the Team and I should have included him. He has a bright future and is very exciting.

 

Let's hope so.
