I'd prefer Jacobs over Lara too but he never showed any interest in fighting GGG and since he's more marketable than Lara, It's easy to see Haymon keeping him away from GGG as long as he can. When you rule out Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders and Johnson, you'd still be left with Lara as the best available challenger. If, I repeat if the fight can be made without much troubles.

Go watch lara's post fight interview of his last fight. In which he calls out anyone at 154 or canelo/cotto at 160. No mention of actually moving up to 160 and didn't even mention GGG. If he wants it so bad why doesn't he do something about it?
