Mundine is a chance.

In reality Mundine is pretty shot as they say. He looks weight drained at 154, just not the athlete he was and is too light. It is clear he has hip problems and does not move as he did, but yet also does not sit on punches. The KO from a year ago would have had a mental effect as well.

But Trout is one of these guys who is totally untested, and in fact has fought very average opponents for where his at (have WBA strap). Look at the linage of that belt. Trout is also nothing special to look at. He holds his hands very low which is all fine if you can snipe well, but he does not do that at all. Its the type of style that you will go ok with until you step up, kinda like Mundine really, lol

But as shot as Mundine is he has been tested and we know what he can and cant do, even at this late stage.

 

Roy Jones and Antonio Tarver were well paid because they are big names who also happen to have won multiple world titles. Jones looked shot. But Tarver far from it and he did the beating up.

 

jones was shot. tarver was pretty shot but skill level was the difference.

 

Antonio Tarver is far from shot as proved by his performance against Green. Regardless of his age he is easily inside the top 10 cruiserweights in the world.

 

i think that wat the tarver v green fight really showed was that green is not that good.

he may very well b in the top 10. we wont know till his next fight cause the 4 or so fights b4 green were pretty bad.

 

How did it prove Antonio Tarver is pretty shot, as you put it? So he lost twice to Chad Dawson. Most people do lose to Dawson.

Tarver creamed Green. Toyed with him. What I'm saying is Tarver is far from a shot fighter and deserves to be where he is, rated in the Top 10 cruiserweights in the world.

Tarver 1,2 and the Heavywweight fight in October 2010. He is a once a year fighter since 2008. Green and the CW division are not that great IMO.
