Trout says his toughest fight was Nilson Julio Tapia, a 15-3 columbian that Golovkin blew through in 3rds. Trout took a MD in a fight one judge scored a draw. His biggest win was against a natural 140lb Cotto, despite Cotto's T-rex arms, short stature, and regression - trout struggled to dominate the much smaller fighter.

Ginger boy is way better than Nilson, and a lot bigger than Cotto. He is going to look great against Trout who is better than average, but not great. After Canelo wins, remember that Trout lost 46 amateur fights for a reason, and resist the urge to call ginger the second coming of Christ.

People are hoping Trout is the next RJJ - Sorry homies he is not close to that level!

    cards
Canelo has never beaten a great fighter, just a few has been welter weights. I think Canelo will win because he can crack and presents a wierd spastic offense that trout won't be able to look good against. If Trout can't look dominate, he will lose easy on these cards.

canelo barely throws punches himself nd fights in sputs

trout is going to outwork him, out jab him, and win an easy UD.....

    canelo is too slow,.

    They've
WBA experimented with a couple 11rd fights hoping it would reduce draws, this was one of them.

    Lol at t-rex arms.

Yeah, i also think Trout is a bit overrated right now. Cotto was way past his best and not even a 154 lb fighter. Not saying he will lose but i expect Alvarez to win.

what does being a 154lber mean ? Canelo doesn't even walk you down he fightsi n spurts....

canelo is simply too slow on his feet to beat trout.

Trout likes to have people coming with constant pressure, to walk into his jab, then attack, so he can slip and counter. Canelo will see the trap and set his own, the exchanges will highlight Canelo's faster heavier combos, because trout is not much of an all in slugger. Canelo has more tricks in his bag, he won't knock trout out, but he will impress more in the exchanges.

pls stop...you kepe sayign canelo has fast combos..yes he does. but that's in front of people who just standi n front of him. see donaire. see pacquiao. when you have a guy who will move none of those shots will land. add to the fact canelo doesn't move his head and lacks stamina and has slow footwork Trout will win an easy UD ....8-4, 9-3.

It means Cotto looks small against natural 154 lb fighters cause his natural weight is at 147.

Canelo isn't going to chase Trout, and show off his slow legs. He will make Trout look like a fish out of water by making him do something he can't - attack. If trout can't look slippery for 3 minutes, he has to win by showing effective aggression. Trout doesn't even know what that means.

he's going to show off his legs? trout is longer and faster how is a slow guy going to outbox trout? canleo will be huffing abd puffing....

soryr it's a bad matchup for him there's a reason GBP didn't want this fight but Canelo made it happen......he's going to lose a UD but he'll still have huge money fights in the future.
