Yea i hear ya, some of my threads have been deleted for no apparent reason. I was just wondering the other day if this site is somehow funded by floyd and all these *****s here are really alt accounts by those on floyds PR team.

Fake boxing fans are quick to use ******ed, uneducated terms such as ***** and ******* or whatever else lame terminology you can create, fact is this has nothing to do with Floyd, I'm not a die hard fan, I'm a die hard boxing fan and the list of fighters I like and follow have diversity...

Now to address the Trout v Cotto situation, yes Cotto has declined, never said he was shot, just you making up **** again...

Trout in my opinion is similar to Cory Spinx when he was at his peak style wise, nothing special but had enough boxing skills to win decisions against certain fighters, however just like Cory Trout will never make it to elite status and will come up short in his big fights, he has no power, average speed, shotty defense, but he does have good movement, a weak but consistent jab and he can box a bit, but that **** won't get him far...

Cotto is a good win for him for the simple fact that he's a named fighter, former champion and by far the best win on Trouts resume, his very next fight he loses in a fight that was his to win, his lack of accuracy and power and will to step on the gas is why he lost, he threw a weak meaningless jab the entire fight and didn't hurt, buzz, deter or snap Canelos head once...

He's average and in the 4-5 fights I've seen of him he has nothing in his arsenal to dominate a top fighter, nor lead me to see him as the favorite against the top 5 at 154...

The boy is average, he will never be **** and won't put an imprint in this sport to be remembered I guarantee it, if he ever comes out of hiding and fights a good ranked opponent I'm willing to bet he loses and by the way Floyd's win over Cotto is a decent win nothing even close to special, just like Trouts win, Cotto is on the slide and of he continues to fight I see him embarrassing himself similar to Shane Mosley...

    Already?

A fight that Mayweather was supposedly ducking just recently got signed a couple days ago and he's already ducking some one else?

You are right, this site, and all other boxing websites, are ridiculous. Peep:They are not "getting" ridiculous. They ARE ridiculous, and "fans" like you help that happen.

He has great movement and a good jab, its easy to look average when you have a better fighter in front of you that can hurt you (canelo) Cotto could not hurt trout thus he won. Trout was throwing those pitty pat shots but was keeping his distance well to not get countered with that right hand. had he commited a little more to his jab he risked the counter, he kept his distance well and thats the reason he did not get k.oed. Trout beats every other 154lbr. Who can beat him Molina??? Lara??? Lara could never win a decision on a volume puncher such as trout.

    Well, he did beat one.

He would probably also beat Ortiz.

Guerrero, I'd favor Trout yes but not a foregone conclusion.

    So what if he would?

That doesn't make him Mayweather's equal.

To be honest 154 isn't filled with a lot of talent, but yes I would favor Lara over him and Andrade, Vanes vs Trout is a 50/50 fight imo and even Angulo makes it interesting because of his relentless pressure and accumulative power, I mean Trout hasn't enough power to keep him off so if he can't move the entire fight he could get worn down...

Don't get me wrong Trout is a decent fighter but he will never be at the top of the pile and I feel the Cotto win has made him to appear better than he actually is, similar to how Shane was viewed when he beat Margo when people thought the old Shane was "back"...

I just don't see anything in him that far separates him from the field at Jr middle, so lets just agree to disagree...
