Troy Waters was a career light middleweight who was world class at that weight. Anthony Mundine wasn't a light middleweight until his mid 30s and well past his best.

That's the only genuine comparison that can be made for them at light middleweight, and Waters takes it.

i like waters but he has no defence mundine picks him apart at any weight . mundine bye wide points norris was a very strong fighter but not the quickest good speed but not great troy at his best against norris ate every thing he threw . even tho mundine does not hit anywhere near as hard as norris he still busts up waters. cheers guys

Waters no defence...........Norris not quick ate everything he threw......cmon man you don't know what the **** you are talking about sport.......Troy was 1 left hook away from stopping Norris in 2 ****en rds.....Troy would KO mandy savagely.....not even close at 154lbs.

As AB said it's not a good fight to use to gauge how Troy would do against Choc.

Secondly, Norris had comparable speed to Mundine..Choc might have him a little on the one punch speed but Norris is a much, much better combo puncher..Terry often sacrificed speed for power and vice versa..so one minute he could look strong but ponderous puncher, then look like a super fast but light hitting one.

If Mundine fought Troy carefully and tried to keep the tempo low...he would make things hard for Waters..But in the long run I don't think Choc has the punch at this weight to stop Waters in his tracks..Either Troy gets to him later or it's going the rounds and is going to be hard to split them on the cards.. might depend on what the judges like, but I feel Mundine might not do enough offensively.

Mundine would have nothing to do with a Prime Waters, would a be similar result if He ever fought a Prime Bika, both would be to dangerous and to Classy.!!!!

waters had great defence and chin. he sparred every day of his life with a heavyweight and light heavy brothers..(they grew into those weights) so he had to know how to stop getting hit. he was easily the best of the three...

(can anyone imagine what ces waters would say about mundine??? lol )

troy would have preassured mundine. the weight drop would have showed. mundine kod in 7.

at super middle id pick mundine on points.
