..in their prime..Mundine would rise up to Waters level and probably just edge him...a very good matchup and clash of styles..

I honestly think Mundine has finally adjusted to the weight but it would have to be proven in another fight against someone who can bang. From memory the fight with GoCart was 158LB and he didnt look to bad but at 154LB he may look weak, it takes a good year to get any strength back when you drop that much weight, pretty much agree with everything you hve said above Kel.

156 against McKart wasnt it. He looked muh more like he did at 168 rather than the skeletal version in the early 154 fights. He has a new S + C coach.

yeah he come in at 156lb i think but the agreed weight was reported to be 158LB, need to see him in with someone else to make a fair comparision but will admit he hasnt looked that good at that weight since dropping divisions, could be because of mckart or it could be because he has finally got his strength back and is comfortable at that weight.

yeah mate I was more talking about that he did not look as drained, actualy looked more natural with muscle/size etc. Rather than his actual boxing performance.

He looked weight drained v Woods #1, have to agree with you that he didnt look as bad for the Mckart weigh in and looked more natural. Would like to see him in with someone of higher calibure to see if he has his power back like he did at middleweight, i think his best performances have been at middleweight.

    I couldn't see Mundine lasting past 5.

We seen what happened to Mundine Vs Wood.

A green Danny Geale beat Mundine aswell, so I can't see Waters having
    too much trouble with Mundine.

Mundine has no chin, he has done well to even get as far as he has.

Mundine was pretty weight drained against Wood and if your hit in the right spot it dont matter how tough you are your going to hit the canvas. I think most occasions if not all of them, when mundine has gone down he has been hit with a temple shot. Ive seen him hit on the chin a few times and he doesnt hit the canvas.

Mundine defeated Green and Green threw everyting including the kitchen sink at him and apparently is the hardest puncher in AUS, he can knockout a cow so he says lol , he couldnt do sht to Mundine ;)
