Anyone know anything about him? He started fighting in the 80's and was active until a few years ago. I think he may of served time in prison or some such because he was inactive for years at a time more then once. 20 wins, all 20 by knockout. Early, early stoppages too. Seemed like he might of had frightening power. He fought Julian Letterlough. Probably the most recognizable name on his record.
He was part of the weaver triplets. Hit hard, I remember but I got those guys all confused with each other.
Big thing I recall about him was those rumors about him hammering Hagler just before the Leonard fight.
Floyd, lloyd and Troy were run of the mill... but Mike was very special... Mike Weaver was the only one that became anything........... Troy was useful but never escalated to becoming a someone on the world scene..........
i didnt even realize he or his brothers were pro. the weavers looked very fast in sparring with Hagler. Marvin never layed a glove on them
