Two of the most explosive brutal punchers at Light Welterweight will be going to war in Moscow on September 9th, this match by all rights should be one of the most hotly anticipated matches of the year, unfortunately not many know who the hell these guys are, which is a real pity, because they are definitely worth learning about. Eduard Troyanovsky is coming off of two back to back career defining stoppage wins over the crafty Argentine Cesar Cuenca, who he not only stopped twice, but outboxed in route to said stoppages. And Keita Obara made his impressive US debut last fall taking on the incredibly durable Walter Castillo who was coming off of a going the distance decision loss to the Young Master Amir Imam, Obara outclassed and viciously pounded the at times seemingly helpless Castillo for the majority of the 12 round match, and then inexplicably in one of the worst decisions of the year, had to settle for a draw, which was such a disservice for an amazing performance that he put in.

Anyone can be KO'd at any time, both of them have the power to put the other one away. They have a combined total of 36 KO's between them in 41 matches, and add to that, they can both be hurt, Troyanovsky was dropped and badly hurt in the 9th of his match against Claudinei Lacerda, before he bounced back to score a stoppage win, and Obara was TKO'd in his first match, which he claims he learned a lesson from. Troya is the more orthodox of the two, he controls range well, and has a powerful hard jab, whereas Obara, throws from very awkward angles that his opponents often times, never se coming, especially his vicious upjab/uppercut. This match packs a lot of intrigue, and is genuinely 50/50, who do you all think will take it? The winner of this match may very well be in the running for a match against Bud as well, so attention needs to be paid to it.

I like watching Troya fight, he's got basics covered yet can be awkward at times with decent power.
