True boxing fans are deserving GGG vs Lemieux fight

Yes, props to Lemieux for accepting but unfortunately for him, this one does not go to the sixth round.

 

Not a ppv fight tho

 

So we're supposed to give Triple Duck credit for fighting a guy who was demolished by Marcoe Antonioe Rubioe? No thanks, I'll pass on this garbage fight.

 

Good fight, I just wish it wasn't PPV. Hopefully the undercard is stacked.

 

Ggg gets him on his bike after the 2nd and tkos him in the 4th

 

should be a good fight. Both guys hit hard and will come forward, will be a war. Regardless of what people think of Lemieux (myself included) he has improved, has a belt, and is only legit middleweight contender at the moment

 

Rubio was getting beat up badly and he can thank his chin and his heart for this well earned victory. Lemieux was simply winning his rounds too strong and gassed out by trying to knock him out. Lemieux still has some tendencies to go on a roll when his powerful punches are passing through his adverdary's guard. That tends him to be wide open for counterpunches at times. He did scared the hell out of me against N'Dam when he was doing that. Against Golovkin, that could be deadly.

 

Lemieux is the same guy who lost to alpice, who went on to lose in the first round to macklin, then brian rose the following year.

I think he's getting a bit over-rated here, GGG will win this easily.

 

Yea I think Lemieux will end up like the rest of them. Hopefully he doesn't quit or become gun shy like many others have after getting knocked down.

 

To be honest, I've seen most of Alcine fights and he had the night of life against Lemieux.

 

Pretty sure Lee Saunders Quillin Cotto Canelo and Eubank are still all legit contenders, and there are about 6,7 others who are a top 30 win away from proving their legitimacy as well.

Can any of em beat GGG.....maybe not, but it could be fun watching them jockeying for his position when he goes N

 

This matchup is going to create fireworks. I can't wait!! And for those who critizice Golovkin's defense and chin, oh boy is this is a fight for you.

 

I don't truly understand those that criticize his defense. I think he doesn't use it because no one has gained his respect. Hopefully Lemieux can gain his respect to at least make it interesting.

 

I can't believe how many of you are looking forward to a matchup between two stiff rock em sock em robots. This sport is definitely headed in the wrong direction.
