I like to consider myself a true fan and I have to say that I am shocked. I mean if he made this decision early on in order to get himself a "trinket" of a belt the easiest possible way, then I would not have been surprised. BUT, he didnt. He instead acted like a child and screamed about how he was only going to fight the best HW's there are. He had that opportunity 2x now, and he has backed out. I read the BS about the contracts and such, but apparently the extra fight options were for Klitschko matches. Either way, yet again he said one thing and did something completely different. Now, I am not going to rag on the guy about the injury. he may or may not have been injured, but I give him the benefit of the doubt. This second time there is NO excuses.

He acted like a child to get attention and did not follow thru with his words.

I feel like he is nothing but talk and I have lost what little respect I had for him. He is picking the easy route when he swore he was not that type.

I think both Klitschko's would beat him, but now he blew the chance to even try.

I cannot really see any other rational argument in favor of this guy. What do you guys think?

I'm quite upset as well. This and his previous scheduled fight with Wlad were to be the best heavyweight fight in years and he blew it, not once but twice! I was rooting for him to win but now I can't wait until someone knocks him out! I mean, come on, the Klitschkos have been champions for years now and him been a new heavyweight contender and looking vulnerable against Monte Barret does not look good. Also, why not give in to the first Klitschko's demans knowing that if he wins, he will likely be calling the shots in a revenge fight with the brother. Now he will fight Valeuv. I hope he gets rocked hard!

HAEY is a joke. The Klitschkos are legitimate, established heavyweights who have held championship belts and consistently sold out venues in Germany for the past decade. HAEY's last fight filled the O2 Arena to less than half capacity in his home country. He had absolutely no leg to stand on in negotiations. He is not the draw, he is not the champ, so he had to take what they gave him. Obviously that hurt his ego. Too bad

Now he's going to spend the next few years fighting Don King retreads, and will eventually get KO'd by one because he simply doesn't have a heavyweight caliber chin and his defense is lacking. Oh well

The move shows that he is full of **** and all mouth. It could also indicate some fear. Either way, the guy deserves no attention for anything with this move. If he had kept his mouth shut then nobody would care. He made this bed, so not he has to lie in it.

It's a winnable fight for him. Haye wins, the fans lose.

What an irony it would be if Valuev beats Haye down.
Haye will most likely run from this fight too. No substance.

Ah, who ****ing cares. The people crying over him not fighting Vitaly/Wlad are the same people saying he didn't deserve a shot anyway, so which is it?

Can't have it both ways. Maybe this is Haye's way of saying he deserves a shot as it will be for a unification bout?

anyway, I don't give a ****. I'd like to see them fight, but Vitlay has done his fair share of manipulation and bull**** with contracts, mandatories etc, so this time he's the one on the receiving end.
