    We need to be demanding this rematch. No true fan ought to be able to dismiss this as anything other than the worst world title robbery in recent memory and still look themselves in the mirror.

    Whether you're a Spinks fan or not, you have to be disgusted by the decision, and the only right thing to do is express your outrage to those with the ability to rectify this. Doesn't matter who the fighter involved is...a robbery this blatant will set a precedent if countermeasures are not taken.

    Spinks was robbed in that fight and he should be granted an immediate rematch. That was easily one of the worst robberies of the year but people aren't up in arms about it because they don't like Spinks' style...pathetic.

    It was a robbery, and he got backstabbed by Don King, but I am sick of seeing Spinks - he has become a very boring fighter.

    Spinks was robbed in this fight,Verno Phillips only won 4 rounds at best, and the irony of this fight was that Spinks put on a good show for the fans,it was'nt a boring fight by any means.

    Havent seen the fight, but regardless, Spinks is not good for the sport of boxing, he should take up track, thats where his talent lies.

    STFU about Spinks. Your opinion on him is irrelevant.

    Do you care about the sport of boxing, and keeping it from descending into total disrepair with the corruption and bull****? Then you should care about this fight and the matter of rectifying the injustice it represents. Passionately.

    That's what's important here. Not Spinks.

    Beats me. Do the fighters usually negotiate those, or the promoters? There is a theory going around that King screwed him personally on this one.

    Beyond that, if it was Spinks responsibility, the only thing I can think of is that he thought - correctly - that he had an old Verno Phillips dead to rights, without the possibility of losing the fight. :conf

    Everyone please, if you care about the sport, find a way to view this fight. If you do, and watch it without any bias, and you aren't outraged by the outcome...well, that won't happen.
