True or false? Roy Jones fought Tarver a third time only to survive 12 rounds?

    He didn't train to win, it wasn't in his heart to win & be the best he could be. But if you're telling me he went into the ring just to put up a competitive loss & a paycheck, you're dead wrong. By the way, which side of LA?

    I'm not saying he went into the ring to lose but rather he didn't fight to win, if that makes sense. The heart wasn't there against Johnson. I think he was just in shock after his fight with Tarver 2 and he went into a shell when he started getting hit. Against Tarver, i honestly think he went into the fight thinking about going 12 as the main goal to save some face.

    Okay. I see what you mean. Yeah, I get it now. Just for him to last 12 rounds w/Tarver was a personal victory to him.

    By the way, 818 is dope. Glendale Galleria & Topanga Plaza is off the chain.

    I might have my RJJ blinders on, but probably just appeared that way. RJJ is not gonna get his ass whooped just to prove he can take an ass whooping, IMO.

    I never understood how the hell Roy got beat by Tarver... Tarver is the worst contender/champion ever... By the way... Why Tyson lose against McBride, I'm still pissed off.

    I never understand why Roy Jones lost against Tarver... Tarver is the worst contender/champion I ever saw and his fight against Dawson just confirm what I thought about him...

    By the way, I'm still pissed off about Tyson's last fight :)
