So because Whitaker and Royce Gracie were not huge ko punchers and not exciting fighters they were bad for their respective sports? I disagree. Wlad may not be exciting, but he embraces the technical aspects of the game moreso than Vitali. To be honest, I've never seen anybody that's 6'7'' box so well other than Lennox Lewis. Exciting as Tyson or Gatti, hell no. But I don't think the Klits are bad for boxing either.
I'm neither a Klit hater or fan but i find it hard to believe they are bad for boxing.I don't get excited when i hear that Wlad Klitscho is going to fight soon because Wlad is a little boring with his cautious style but in all honesty how bad would the heavyweight division without the Klitchso's?
Just to clarify (in case there was any confusion) I am mostly referring to the fact that they are clearly the best two fighters out there and that they refuse to fight each other. Imagine if Ali and Frazier refused to fight when they were the division's best? I know it's because they are brothers, but it still kind of sucks.
I actually think it is good, when someone beats one brother the other is out for revenge, if you want to be the top fighter in the division now, you have to beat both guys whilst they take out all the pretenders.
No. It's also a silly question. If anything, it is something unique that would intrigue boxing fans. Only someone with dislike for the Klitschkos could actually believe that there is something wrong with them not fighting each other.
Point being, there are no other divisions out there where the two universally recognized best fighters are out there saying "No way in hell will I fight that other guy, it will NEVER happen."
You're complaint is that (a) they're both too good (if one was **** you wouldn't be bothered) and (b) they're too honest?
You might not be aware of this... but.... Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko are actually brothers.:good That might clear some things up for you.
to brothers should never fight each other, owever they should not complain about not being able to unify as theya re part of the problem through no fault of their own.
