    Round 10 - 10-9 Salapat, 97-93 Salapat

Three right jabs and one left cross from Salapat, all decent medium-hard shots, followed by a flush powerful left jab/hook hybrid from Medura. Quantity vs. quality here in the late going, both tired but Salapat busier. Medura down, legs crossed up and he tripped. Salapat really snapping the right jab now, doubling it, keeping Medura from any under the wire heroics.

    Bottom lines:

Petch is offensively decent but not a top 15 bantam in the world.

Daredevil Medura is a typically hard-nosed and game Pinoy journeyman, but undersized at the weight.

:dunno Honestly, the 'brave Zamboangueño' already was a better h2h and more proven fighter than Adrian Lerasan, and Petch, for all his flaws, is a significantly bigger test than any of the three Thais faced by Medura's countryman "the Wild Beast".
