Former Contender finalist Jaidon Codrington, he had good Boxing skills, quick reactions and could have went far, even won the Contender. He was badly KO'd by a previously undefeated fighter named Alan Green before he entered the Contender and then was stopped by Sakio Bika in the Final.

Soley based on two knockout defeats? And he did rise to his feet against McCall. Many other referees would have allowed Lewis to contiunue. Tyson was stopped and floored more times than Lewis. Just to let you know. Ok, he was never knocked out by a single punch the way Lewis was, but he still hit the canvas a higher number of times and was stopped inside the distance more as well.

I'll vote for Tyson. Mainly based on him get knocked down about 5 or 6 times in his career and never coming off the canvas to turn the tables.

    Lennox Lewis. Laughable.

Not sure how many of you will recognise the name of Errol Christie. Touted for greatness back in the 80's but had a truly mediocre chin.

Patterson's wasn't 'truly weak'. It was pretty average/shaky, but he's only been stopped twice by Liston, a huge puncher, Johansson, a huge puncher, and twice by Ali, who wasn't a huge puncher but could certainly hit and hit alot aswell, and the second stoppage was on cuts.

Ah Errol. Trained at the Kronk gym did he not? I heard he was very talented.

Wasting your breath mate. When it comes to Lennox Lewis this guy is the biggest troll out there.

Errol Christie, yes. He was extremely talented and I'm sure could have fought for a world title if it hadn't been for the glass chin. Saw him live againt Charlie Choo Choo Boston getting knocked down a couple of times before losing. Shortly after there was something in the British press about the British Boxing Board of Control wanting Errol to be examined to discover why he was incapable of taking any sort of solid punch.

As far as elite fighters go, Norris. If Terry had a good chin, he'd have been an all time great, cause he was talented and skilled as hell!

Tyson had an excellent chin ...

A lot of the guys mentioned here had decent to average chins, not weak chins ..

Norton got blasted by Garcia, Foreman, Shavers and Cooney, four devastating hitters ... his chin was not weak, instead he froze against huge punchers and that was that ...

Satterfield was kill or be killed ...

Patterson suffered lots of knockdowns , 16 overall, but other than Liston and Ingo, two tremendous punchers, he was not stopped by KO ... even with Ingo he got up seven times, showing tremendous heart ... Floyd had a great ability to regroup from knockdowns ... Patterson is one of the most misunderstood and underated heavyweights of all time in my book ...

Mike Weaver had a shaky chin, no question ... Terry Norris as well ...

Nigel Benn is underated to me, often losing from poor pacing like in the Watson fight ... he took bombs from McCullen and won and in his one round blowout of Barkley took a few bombs as well ... not great but definately fairly solid ...

Not mentioned yet ... Roy Jones ?

Anybody that has been knocked out a several times is considered to have no chin by most boxing observers. its such a subjective business deciding how good a guys chin is. many factors can play a role in a knockout
