This is only seen as a good fight because of how poor the rest of GGG's opponents have been. GGG will take him out relatively easily.

Golovkin has superior skills and defense, if Golovkin does not want to get him, then he will slip the punches......................Golovkin will knock Lemieux out............

Unfortunately that might not be completely true. Guys can just work their ass off to stay at 154 or move to 168 and try their luck there.

Lemieux is the bigger puncher. The edge that will make a difference for him is his strength and conditioning.

Shows how good GGG is when have to go up wieght classes to find someone to beat him. Ward is much closer to kovalev's size than he is to GGG. That's the fight I wanna see

Well, going by your bull**** logic of 'one did slightly better against Rosado than the other' then Lemieux will get KO'd easily seeing as he got KO'd by Rubio who was KO'd by Golovkin.

The same Lemieux who then got outpointed by quite an ordinary fighter in Alcine.

"You should try to watch boxing more. You have no idea what you're talking about"

Is my response to that drivel.

You're talking as if you've only watched GGG's last fight. He looked puffed in between rounds? Good, better than puffing hard during the actual round. His conditioning is absolutely fine, as demonstrated with his superior work rate in the 11th round against Murray. More to the point, Lemieux looked way more gassed towards the end of his last night. Watch some of the fights prior to GGG's last 6-7; he used to bob and weave far more. You don't hold an AM pedigree like that without having substantial boxing skills. His style changed and he allowed himself to be hit more; his chin is solid and it creates more openings for him to exploit (see the Geale KO). He got a black eye? So? He also got the KO in that fight too.

I think Lemieux is good and he's fun to watch. He has faster hand speed than Golovkin for sure, that's not debatable. To say he applies pressure better is absolutely ridiculous. He doesn't cut the ring down half as good as Golovkin does.

Is that verbose enough for you?

    Au contraire, mon frere...........

I think if there's one thing the internet needs more of, it's wasted time and space.

    Good post.

I see this as a 5/2 type fight.

Lemieux superior handspeed and equal power give him an excellent chance at overcoming the odds, whereas GGGs superior footwork and punch placement and technique, and better chin, imo, give him the edge in maintaining the status quo.

My prediction is GGG TKO 8, but I could see GGG dropping in this one.

Amari really didn't hurt him bad though did he?

N'jikam is decent (it isn't the only time Lemieux has looked tired though. He doesn't pace himself very well) and a good win to have. Personally, I wouldn't have rated him higher than Martin Murray though
