He has power and decent speed but I think he might make it interesting early but by the mid to late rounds he will be worn down I'm afraid.

That's why this isn't a great main event for a ppv, it's too one-sided a fight. It might be fun for a few rounds but everyone knows Golovkin is a big favorite here.

Lemieux is a good middleweight, top 5 rated, has a title, and is on a strong winning streak(N'Dam, Rosado, and Guerrero) but he's not on Golovkin's level and he's probably getting ko'ed.

This fight itself is an HBO level fight and not a ppv one but when added with the undercard that's being discussed( if they do happen) then I'm fine with this being a ppv card.

 

I agree this fight shouldn't be PPV it's a joke. What has Lemieux done to be considered a PPV fight? It should be on HBO not PPV. HBO screwed up here, the fight will not do good numbers. Cotto-GGG is PPV GGG-Canelo is PPV Ward-GGG is PPV Froch-GGG is PPV but GGG-Lemieux isn't PPV.

I think Lemieux has a puncher's chance. If he can make it to the mid rounds it could very be closer than I thought.
