Truth comes out, per Dan Rafael "GGG asking for 50-50" aka Triple Greedy!~

Asking for 50/50 when he clearly won the first fight in the eyes of most people, Canelo ****ing up the May 5th rematch and of course the black cloud that will surround him due to the failed test... 50/50 is far from greedy. If fishnets wants to redeem himself even slightly and get the fight done he'll accept 50/50. Simple as that.

 

i dont like to argue purses, for the most part, but this should be a question of fairness, at this point in the saga. what should have started as gentlemen using every trick in the book to cut the best deal for their fighter, is now what seems a case of unfair practices on one side, with no compensation to the other side for the breaking of contract. if purses are to remain the same, then golovkin deserves a large percentage of his lost purse from the cancelled fight. i think 50/50 for this one, is a much better deal for team canelo, than tallying receipts and paying those out separately.

 

Exactly this current situation is solely Canelo's fault.

 

That should be obvious to anyone but so should the fact that GGG and his team are trying to squeeze more money
out of the situation which at this point seems to be the reason why this fight is in limbo.

Golovkin should only make as much as he’s worth. Look at the Vanes match and all his previous ones sans Canelo for your answer.

 

GGG is just pricing himself out at this point. How much did he realistically lose missing out of fighting another scrub? Nothing as he fought Vanes for his usual take pre Canelo

I’m sick of this superstar bul**** to be honest.
We’ve got a reigning champ with 3 belts and we’ve got a challenger who brings nothing but a mythical title only die hards know about and even they know that this title was acquired in a series of pathetic events.

Now i know that ginger is the “draw” and **** but 80-20 split was a robbery to begin with.
After stalling, shady actions before, during and after the first fight, then more stalling, failed tests, pulling out of the second fight at the last minute and even more bul****, 80-20 is a spit in the face.

I think too many people here are not really boxing fans as boxing is what happens inside of the ring, not all this “if the money is right”, “nahh, he cant sell out [enter venue]”.
So for all of those who’s pants get wet talking about purses and how this guy deserves more than the other, based on the fact that he’s been whoring himself out and thus is more recognised amongst casuals, Ive got only one thing to say - **** you, you are a big part of the reason why we’re waiting ages to get to see decent matchups.
