If GGG doesn't back off 50/50, it's the same as a duck.

 

Why is asking for more = a duck or GGG is a coward? They've already fought!!! Isnt that the same line Canelo fans always use? People said he was scared of Lara, he was scared of Trout, he was Scared of GGG--he fought all those guys.

I dont know what the split was for the first fight-
I dont know what the split was for the rematch that was cancelled because of Canelo's failed drug test.
I dont know what GB is offering now.

But lets say it was 75/25. Does anyone know for sure?
Anyway--so GGG is asking for 50/50. Big deal. In asking for 50/50, lets say GB counters with 65/35. GGG just got an extra 10%. Thats a good business move right? Isnt this prize fighting where a fighter is trying to max out his earnings?

These two need each other. There is too much money there for this fight. Granted Canelo will make big money with just about anyone, but he wont make the type of money he can make with GGG.

 

Why is this a duck anyway? Golovkin has already faced him once and in most peoples eyes beat Canelo. We can all argue on what Golovkin deserves in this fight and he may well walk away from it but he will be walking away because of his principles not because he is scared. Anybody claiming Golovkin is scared after already getting the better of a juiced up and illegally hand wrapped Canelo and the the way he has handled the rest of his career is just a troll.

Be annoyed that his demands are high, be annoyed that this fight isnt happening, blame GGG for it all by all means if thats how you see it. But to call him scared or a ducker? Please. Get a grip. He feels after all thats happened in and around the 1st fight and the general questionable antics of GBP, NSAC and Canelo and the fact that they have pretty much (as predicted by many) stalled his entire career he deserves more this time round.

But this isnt no duck. Hiding behind a stupid catchweight that doesnt make sense and then throwing the belt away rather than fighting somebody is a duck.
