GGG is doing the right thing. He's getting older and it's a dangerous fight even if Canelo is clean. Most people I've spoken to think he won the first but that Canelo has a better chance in the second.

If he doesn't get 50-50, GGG could never fight Canelo again, claim he already beat the juicer but got robbed and ride off into the sunset. Hopefully he fights BJS in Vegas

Fact is Canelo would still make at least 500K PPV with anyone, Golovkin around 150-200K with Jacobs or Saunders.

I’m a huge GGG fan, and Im totally disgusted by GBP Oscar and Canelo, but De la Hoya is right, no way Golovkin can take 50-50. MayPac and MayMcG wasn’t 50-50 also.

GGG won the fight , but got robbed, then GGG got screwed again because clenelo was cought cheating .
Now GGG knows he’s older and even if he wins it again they will rob him , so yea he wants 50/50 and it makes a lot of sense .

What's the deal, El Chicano? Every time I see a post about GGG you are badmouthing him. Give it a rest. This rematch is up in the air for one reason and one reason only. It's not GGG's greed. It is Clenelo's idiocy. There are consequences when you cheat.

1- GGG won the first fight
2- Canelo cost GGG a **** load of money and time because his actions
3- Canelo’s case should have been settle but because of all this mess, GGG will probably have to lose his IBF if he fights Canelo in september.

So yeah, he absolutely deserves that 50-50 purse. ATM, Canelo needs more GGG than GGG needs Canelo.
