Oscar wants Canelo to win. Hell he roots for everybody to beat Floyd so nothing new there. Floyd has extra motivation to kick Canelo's arse as a result. Floyd and Oscar have a working relationship but there is no warmth between them even from back in the day when they were with Top Rank. Floyd and Richard Schafer CEO of Golden Boy Promotions get on very well. Business wise its a win win for Golden Boy Promotions. I will get criticised for saying this but Floyd Mayweather Junior will never lose to a Mexican or Mexican style fighter.

As for who Oscar wants to win I think its a win win situation for him. As someone has pointed out FMJ has only 5 fights left, if he wins he could well work with GBP for the remaining ones. If he loses, Oscar has got the first fighter to have beaten Mayweather, and has time to increase his saleability.

Its obvious ODLH want Canelo to win, Floyd only allows GBP to put on his fights, he has no contract/agreement with them, he can go to anyone else or put his own shows on whenever he feels like it.. Also it doesnt look like Floyd has got long left on the sport & GBP are looking long term.
