    I think it was the illusion of being "in the danger zone". Óscar is very comfortable weaving his way into someone's wheelhouse and then out while they're spraying punches at him. Like navigating a spaceship through a big cluttered asteroid field - but his instincts are good enough to get away with it. (that, and he's a bit lucky to not get tagged with more stray punches here and there playing with fire like that with so many chaotic variables involved with those wild punches from someone like Avalos)

    The best boxers don't get hit much, look at Rigo, Floyd, Ward, Loma etc... Maybe I'm setting up my expectations too high. :lol:

    I pulled back from thinking he was a serious contender his last two fights. This one showed he's still got a lot to prove. He's still improving, and he'll be great.
