Páez is attempting to "Monty Meza-Clay" his way inside on the mobile taller man, getting impaled on jabs but occasionally managing to gore Benavidez into the ropes and work side-to-side thresher combos across the belly. Benavidez is jabbing Páez in the face and turning him, mostly able to stay off the ropes and mixing in his own long sniping body shots. Big flurry on the body from Páez late, but not enough.

Bradley, wtf are you talking about? Two Latinos, you can't remember one's name, and you just default to Chavez?

 

Bradley actually called Benavidez out for this habit before the fight started. Good observation by Desert Storm.

Páez is approaching in a mock Philly shell, left arm wrapped over his stomach in a low sling and right glove up to protect his chin. Páez is galloping after Benavidez, getting hit with jabs and high combos kneading his forehead. Páez is searching for holes in Benavidez's defense, mostly on the body, just not able to consistently stay close or get past the long jab.
