Good call Philla. I thought Cotto might of pulled the upset he WAS good enough to do it, but Margarito definitely did damage him mentally and aside from that Cotto had that guy that was Evangelista's assistant now as a headcoach, but the guy did an awful job with Cotto. IDK man when Cotto was sticking that jab out in the first round I think he won that round and if he would of stuck to that if might of been a closer fight. He was looking like Cotto pre-Margo, or the Cotto that beat Mosley, using speed, jabs, and angles. When he stopped throwing the jab Pacman closed the distance and the rest is history. Cotto did start using the jab later in the fight, but it didn't have the same snap in it or speed in it and he was just a sitting duck. What do you think would happen in a rematch at 154 with Manny Steward at the helm for Cotto? You think he gets stopped earlier or does he go the distance with Pacquiao?

I think at 154 and with Steward, Cotto goes the distance with Pac. I think it looks like Pac vs Barrera II.

BTW, pre or post Margarito, Cotto gets the same result against Pac. Throw the Cotto from the Judah fight in against Pac from the Hatton fight and Cotto gets demolished.

So Pacman like a deadlier version of Judah then? Cotto handled a faster, slicker, possibly stronger southpaw in Judah, even tho I admit Judah did well the first 3-4 rounds vs. Cotto, then he runs out of steam and Cotto started walking him down. I don't know how long it would last or if it would be a mismatch, but a Pacman-Judah fight would be a hella entertaining.

In my opinion, Pacquiao is more versatile, more skilled, more intelligent, faster on his feet, more accurate, better chin, more powerful and pretty much equal in handspeed to Judah. I don't see many things Judah does better than Pac and that includes defense which imo Pac's is underrated.

Judah might have a bigger frame but Pac's mental toughness makes up for that.

Anyways, Cotto beat Judah into submission. Judah was getting the best of Cotto until he started getting hit and his will broke. He started focusing purely on avoiding punches and stopped thinking of his own offense. That couldn't really happen to Pac.

I saw JMM go tit for tat with Pac over 24 rounds and figured that JMM was much more intelligent, better defensively, more precise, better right hand, better at making adjustments, better ring generalship, better at reading his opponents, better handspeed, and has a much better chin p4p than Cotto. Also, JMM had already been in with Pac once before they fought in March 2008 so he understood the kind of speed he would be dealing with. In fact Pac was probably even faster the first time JMM fought him. Cotto didn't have that luxury.

The only chance I gave Cotto was that if somehow the extra weight he had would allow him to walk through Pac's punches, which lets be real wasn't very probable considering what he just did to Hatton and that it was just 5 pounds up.

Oh my lord, you are a ******. No, an average Filipino who's first language is that of Tagalog or Filipino would not speak better English than one who's native language is of that, so don't be stupid (the only exception to that I could see is maybe a redneck...And I'm not American, I'm Canadian, pretty much any Filipinos second home). After months of this thread being gone, I have to say, if you cant take a joke after that HORRIBLE display of grammatical error, then you probably have no sense of humor, or even more probable, you don't understand proper English. Thus concluding my rant, that I wish I had noticed someone reply to this post sooner as I would have responded sooner, but ******s like you, and the other morons who claimed racism, can take a hike....
Months later, and I still found my comment to be awesome and true. Sorry for making you cry :yep:yep:yep:yep:yep

Cotto by murder. Even if pac goes into the ring with a baseballbat in his hands, cotto would still **** him. Pacquiao wouldn't even beat Juan Diaz who is a smaller, softier version of cotto lol
