Try to score Froch vs. Dirrell, round-for-round

I had it six rounds a piece with the point deduction giving Froch the win

end of the day I wasnt really biased going into this fight, at the time I wasnt even a fan of Froch (******* made me lose a bet on the taylor fight) and I was quite impressed with Dirrell early on with his speed and combinations . . . .

HOWEVER

holding on for dear life, running, complaining to the ref and slipping around the canvas like a baby seal does not win you a fight. Froch won the fight fair and square.

Also remember scoring the fight because all I had to write my scorecard on was an old pizza box

 

Due to America having a top SMW in Irish Andre Ward, there is interest from America in the division again. Shame is it is a terrible weak time in the division and that America didnt watch it too much before as it was a far better division just there were no Americans able to compete in it at the time. It was thought Lacy would be that man and he looked far more destructive than Ward, and America had interest then. It faded when Lacy was beaten.
Ward should never have ducked Bute. Thats still a fight I would say Ward could lose due to not having much power.
Ward has been very looked after in not fighting Bute, not fighting Dirrell and having his fights at home

 

Yeah but the best LHW is not fighting at LHW, he is fighting at SMW where he has no pedigree and is completely unproven. Remember Dawson jumped away from SMW years previously to fight in the weaker LHW division against old men.
I said all along that Dawson would lose to Pascal, and Dawson has made a a name against old fighters. Maybe he can change that tonight, but I can only see Ward as a very clear easy winner beating Dawson in a similar way to how he beat A Green.

I had it 8-4 dirrell i could see some of the swing rounds goin to froch but eh ohvwell shits over with one fighters still relevant the other is meh
I was a huge dirrell supporter an believed he woulda beat ward but he bitched out so now i say **** him with a sick dick

 

I scored the fight 115 to 113 in favour of Dirrel.

I usually stick to strict 10 point must scoring, but in this case I can't really hand the win to Dirrel. You can't fight backwards the entire fight, flop around the canvas and expect to win in a close fight in the hometown of the champion. Froch looked awful as well, but if Dirrel would have been given the decision, this would have been one of the most undeserving title win performance in recent time.

 

I had 115-112 for Dirrel. I can see a bit closer, but based on the score point system, Dirrel should have won. He fought like a *****, indeed.
