I'm not being rude, just gets kinda frustrating having to repeat the same thing over and over to you. Even when other people that have a clue post saying the same as me you disagree.

    I'm done.

genetics play a part in abs, just cause you and some one else dont agree doesnt mean thats the end of the issue , theres many examles for both arguments,
you are not the final authority on everything in the training section , sorry to inform you of that:yep

That picture of Calzaghe shows him with a pretty low bodyfat percentage and you can see his abs, behind all that hair. Calzaghe is not an explosive athlete, you can see it in his coordination and the way he moves. Somebody on here was saying how they saw him play a game of soccer and they said it was embarrassing, he was slow and unco. I believe it.
Size of muscles isn't genetic, the shape is to a large extent though.
I don't know how much research has been done on testosterone levels in different races but there are so many different variables to take into account so I wouldn't put too much faith in it. Even then it's just going to be in general, you'll still get Asian guys with more testosterone than Africans. A guy I play basketball with is Chinese and he's one of the most muscled up dudes I've seen. Don't make generalizations about race like that, it makes you sound like an idiot.

Another thing, testosterone can be manipulated by many training and lifestyle factors. So to get anything definite in regards to race would require an incredible amount of effort and very tight controls.

your really going to need to show some evidence of this instead of just stereotyping entire races.

First and foremost you need to consume more calories. Thier is no type of training (weight lifting, polymetrics, etc) that will make you gain weightout actually eating more. Once you have that down you can move into weight training, now you need to do POWER training and superset workouts like dumb bell chest press with a medicine ball chest presss. You want to improve strength and size well also increasing rate of force production (hence the medicine ball workouts) AVOID PURE HYPERTROPHY training you will gain mass but hender your speed, agility, etc.

    Hope this helps.

Apologies, I havent read the whole thread.

As said above, calories are important. You gotta eat eat eat! This will likely gain you some fat on the way but its easy enough to burn off after youve bulked up.
Best to concentrate on bulking or cutting one at a time (youll reach your goal much quicker that way).

Now, can any gym goers tell me is it ok to work the same muscle group numerous times a week? in the short term at least?

If you are boxing and bulking up and gaining mass, make sure you do lots and lots of stretches, maybe some Yoga? Weight training can make you slow, tight and inflexible.
