Loma’s defense is tough to study, even in slow motion. I still don’t really understand how he never gets hit in the pocket. He just makes the slightest of movements to barely avoid getting hit, and it looks like he often starts the movement before the opponent even begins to throw the punch. Even during times when it looks like he gets grazed in regular speed, if you look at it in slow motion, you will see that he actually either slipped it or blocked it in the last fraction of a second. I just can’t figure out how he always makes exactly the perfect move...it’s crazy!

Trying looking at very young Felines playing with Snakes, they always seem to be able to avoid the strikes (without any training), some humans were bred out of a gene-pool of fast reflex population. While the big ethnic groups are descendants of the less lateral iron-age armies, we only can imagine/theorize what kind of evolution created the ultra-alert fast reflex Vasyl, it can possibly be identified by an existing gene more common in humans, could be very useful for developing talent, whats certain is that any human who has a close autosomal profile to Vasyl is already a step ahead in the boxing world. From Vasyl size & looks it seems its not a very frequent autosomal profile, but fashion & being out of shape can be deceiving
He's unique, u have to compare to multiple fighters rather than one to fully grasp his abilities, he's constantly moving... in & out of range, circling, shifting, using angles, searching for openings, fainting, beautiful upper body movement.... weaving, there is so much going on, it bamboozles his opponent! Those feeling out shots he uses like he's painting a picture almost too! He steps it all up as the rounds progress too, u see him going through the gears! You can't work it out, it's too unpredictable, he has so many facets to his game all operating totally in sync with each other! It must be a nightmare to fight him! He's like those music men who have a drum on there back, symbol between there knees, organ at there mouth, guitar in hand looolll
he has great reflex but the most important is the boxing school he went through. Every move he does has its name and purpose, every element, and when done from age of 5 it becomes automatic movement. We call it "Russian school", because Russians picked the best boxing elements from whole world (Cuba, USA, USSR, Europe etc.) and made their own school which was teached on universities of physical education in ex USSR. The point is to move all the time with legs, upper body, head and arms (blocking punches) and to have way out from every situation. Also, defensive elements are structured in a way that you dont need to know which punch will come, because every element would evade every punch thrown. Thats why he moves away before opponent throws a punch, its not that he knew which punch will opponent throw.
