On paper. Casamayor showed his superior boxing skills and clean punching in that fight. He out boxed him much easier that Floyd. Sympathy rounds given because of the Floyd robbery no doubt. Castillo scrapped in the second part of the fight but not enough to get the win IMO.

Vince Phillips who knocked out Tszyu, Ward, Pendelton would beat him. 37-year old VP who gave prime Vernon Forrest all he could handle would do the same. 40 year old Vince nearly knocked out Hatton whereas a 30 year old Castillo got demolished in 4 rounds.

Tszyu and Floyd both belongs to the top 10 the last ten years. Anybody denying that just showing lack of understanding boxing.

Roger Mayweather who was past his prime gave Zoo a good fight and went the distance. Imagine what Floyd would to Zoo (Vince Phillips style tko). Floyd tko 7 rounds.

Floyd for me. with a wide decision. Kostya would have a hard time landing consistently on Floyd (which can be said of most fighters) but kostyas best chance would be a knockout with the right hand

The problem with KT is he never stepped in with the best of his era. If he really wanted the best he could have made an effort and chased those fights down like Mosley did by jumping 2 weight classes to face DLH. I don't care how much power or how straight his right hands were if he never fought any of the best fighters it's hard to really guess how good he truly was otherwise it is mere speculation.

Ahhhh No ,, Zoo was getting his ass handed to him by Zab until Zab got careless. Zab is two class below floyd, floyd is a better tactician, better condition fighter then zab and let not forget better chin.. floyd would not sit still long enough to allow Zoo to get off.. Floyd by UD busting Zoo's face to pieces ..

Floyd didn't duck Zoo you fool,, Floyd was with HBO and Zoo was with showtime.. Zoo wanted to negotiate with HBO to make the fight but Zoo management team made the Hatton fight with out consulting Zoo first..

At 140 floyd was faster than he is now and hit considerably harder .. Floyd has a better chance and stopping Zoo at 140..

To say floyd has a chance to beat Zoo at 140 is a understatement ,, It zoo who may have a chance against floyd.

i totally agree.. I think KT was a helluva fighter, but he continues to be overrated big time by ESB.. I cant believe he has 40% of the votes.. IT should be more like 80/20 Floyd.. I think the Randall who beaT A faded Chavez would have been all wrong for KT.. Sharp Shooters, with solid boxing skills, and a decent chin would have always gave KT problems, Why do you think Tszyu and his people never called for a rematch?...Dont think KT improved all that much after losing too Phillips.. He only outshined Phillips (overall Career) was because, Phillips had out of the ring distractions and problems... An inshape 100% Phillips always beats KT... IF Tszyu would have fought ODLH,Mosley,Prime Randall,whittaker,Mayweather.. THen fans would have a better perspective on how good was.... Which was an excellent fighther and even a solid top 10 pfp fighter.. But not quite as good as the elite 1 to 5 pfp fightters in the game of his era. Maybe at one point he was in the top 5 but more because of default, but hth there were always at least 4 or 5 guys better than him... Id pick KT over Bradley but i know hed have his hands full. And i only pick him over Kahn because of Kahns suspect chin, Kahn would get KTFOD.:yep

Zoo was not getting his ass handed to him, that's revisionist history at it's finest. Zab did get the better of the first round.
Zab didn't get careless, he got worked out. Halfway through the second round Zoo had him figured out, and started winning. The end came not long after that.

Zab, who was damaged goods after that fight, was more than a little competitive against Floyd. To say that the best Zab is 2 classes below the best Floyd is just nuthugging.

Because if Floyd couldn't do better against a fighter, who was two classes below him, and was already damaged goods - then he isn't the fighter you think he is.

    Castillo has wins over

    Corrales
    Casamayor
    Diaz
    Johnston
    Lazcano
    Ngoudjo
    Paez
    Bezan

Thats far superior to Vince Philips resume. Says alot when the best you could come up with was mickey ward and Pendelton lol.

Yeah Floyd barely beat him the second time around as well. I guess he had another injury that night too.
