Former world boxing champion Kostya Tszyu admits there is a real possibility he will return to the ring and resume his career. Speaking in Sydney today, the 38-year-old said there was a strong possibility his fighting career will continue. Tszyu lost his last fight to Englishman Ricky Hatton and has received offers from Russia to continue his career and admits he will fight again if the price is right. "I'm realistically saying it's still a big chance but it would need to be huge motivation," he said. "I would never fight for money but it would need to be a big number. "Some Russians offered me ridiculous money, bigger than I've ever had, but not anything concrete." I'll believe it when I see it. Sometimes I think the biggest pleasure KT has these days is teasing his fans with talk of his return.

If he could still make 140 and is in shape, gets some ring rust off... i think he could fight for a title again

He's not returning to 140 he said as much after the Hatton fight after failing to make weight for the first time in his boxing career. I suspect that he may jump into an immediate match against Mayweather at 147 rather than a huge welterweight if he forgoes the tuneup.

When you look around the welterweight division(assuming that's where he'd look), his is the only name that is really missing as far as the guns of the past half decade or so.
It would also take the bad taste i've had in my mouth away, after seeing him(possibly) finish his career sitting on his stool. Win, lose or draw, he has earned/deserves a much better legacy than that.
If somehow he could defy his age(hopkins like) and regain his form, i'd love to see him take down Mayweather. No doubt a huge upset for many.

If he returns I like his chances. He was treated horrible in his last fight in England against Hatton. Much like Cotto showed improvement at 147 Tszyu can do the same thing considering he said he was having a bit of weight issues making 140. I would love to see him in the mix at 147, maybe even rematch Zab.

He was half way to retirement before the Hatton fight, this is just talk. That night he got his massive pension fund and got treated like ****, that's all she wrote.

Atleast he goes out and trys. Tszyu still has fight left in him but he decides to tease his fans every 3-4 months for the past 3 years which pisses me off.

Tyszu can proballys beat half the opponent in the light welterweight division anyway paulie malignaggi wouldnt be able to beat kosta tszyu, paulie has been showing signs of weakness and been exposeed, he can even fight Demetrius Hopkins! which would be a nother good fight for him tell evreybody he is back!
