Fark I bet the American Army didn't give Stallone an honorary medal or bravery award for his portrayal of "Rambo".....yet, accross the globe, boxing officialdom always seems to play service to him, like he is as valued as much as a "real" world champion.

I am disturbed or in disagreement with how far they go with Stallone..in my view his portrayal of Balboa serves only to dumb-down boxing, boxers and fighters. " Err, Derr, watch me chase those chickens Mikey"

You know, seriously, as much as I love and pay the highest homage to Kostya's glorious career, I feel that this most current award with its "ring wearers" s is more pointed and directed towards the International Hall of Fame Organizations kudos, than to Kostya himself.

Nothing that they say or do for Kostya, could equal or add to Kostyas prowess in his time; I just hope that they are paying him lots of money to hold up their trophy ring.

 

I find it extraordinary that Sylvester Stallone, an actor playing a boxer, is inducted to the International Boxing Hall of Fame, yet the boxer his character is based on will never get in.
