Tszyu vs Hatton revisted

You're right on the mark...Tszyu was paid $5.4 million, however, which is quite the poultice.
I guess what sealed my complete contempt for Hatton was during a post fight interview when asked if the intentional low blow hurt Tszyu and Hatton replied "I hope so."
To imagine the cretin then complaining about Cortez....

 

I'm no big fan of either fighter, but I saw the fight a couple weeks ago.

Hatton was kD by a VERY low blow. If you don't beleive me watch the replay -it was about as low as they get. I can understand Hatton avenged it, although incredible he didn't get penalized. Showtime's scoring of the fight was ridiculous. I had Hatton well ahead by the end, not 1 point ahead like the moron from Showtime who was scoring it. What fight was he watching.

Yes, Hatoon did a lot of stuff, but compare it to Calzaghe getting warned like 29 times about hitting Kessler at the back of the head and not getting points deducted or Hopclinch fighting with his head rather than his fists it's nothing.
Both fighters were rough in that fight not just Hatton, and Hatton was landing huge blows throughout the fight, not just at the end. If Tszyu had
gone out for the last round, gotten his head bashed in (which he would) no one would have questioned Hatton.

 

i used to really like hatton and was at this fight live, but i cant watch it anymore... hatton was a disgrace, the ref was a disgrace, the fight was a disgrace and that low blow was one of the most sickening fouls I've seen and hatton didn't even lose a point

hatton oftens says that boxing isnt a tickling contest but thats no excuse

I don't know why Hatton gets so much shite for this fight. Sure he deserves some criticism, but no way the amount he gets!

Many fighters use dirty tactics: Hopkins his head, Calzaghe actually openly admitted to punching Hopkins in the balls on purpose to slow him down, Floyd uses elbows, Tyson bit people, and also tried to break peoples arms, many fights are full with rabbit punches... people turn their back, hitting and holding... there is nothing more in this fight then your average real hard brawling tear up...

Even Tszyu himself had absolutely no complaints and stated he was fairly beaten.

 

Oh another Hatton hating Scotsman, wow what a shocker.

 

Now this is a real low blow! Check out the constant amount of holding going on too; and this is a fight between two all time greats.
