Trained with his sons a few times when I lived in Arncliffe, they have a gym out there that was right nearby. Then I met the guy when I went to his son tim’s Pro debut. Pretty nice dude. Definitely one of my favourite fighters stylistically and aesthetically. My ex girlfriend was an accountant and her boss was his personal financial accountant in Aus (he did all his tax through them etc) so I found out some nitty gritties about his personal life. Nothing he’d personally done but a fair few people trying to get to his money, take advantage of him etc. Which was pretty ****.
I'll make sure I run it by @Pimp C next time before I post a thread about two losers who hid in a division not daring to be great.. Pair of useless tossers.. I forgot I was among such boxing royalty!
What the **** is the matter with you Pimp? Hid? Let me guess, you think Hagler was a coward who hid in one division too? You don't realize the dedication it takes to stay in one division. But Oh, that's right, being a floyd fanatic, you think guys move up to other division to chase greatness....
Most of these fools don't realize guys move up for two reason: 1. Can't make weight anymore 2. Got KFTO of their division, HAVE to move to another.
Almost like a mirror image, not even so much styles (though they are similar in that way too) but just the whole aura of stone like composure. I assume GGG was a big fan of Tszyu growing up.
