Ditto. He was trying to bulk up all along because having less movement and more power was the goal he was working towards?

Not surprised really having Malu Mainu'u conditioning him, his weight was always going to be high. The guy trains only one way, like an elite bodybuilder. Ultra high intensity and big weights. I'm sure his bench press has never been higher but that wont help him in the ring.

Wow that is really weird that guy does not look 274 in the video. Flabby, but not obese. Just a heavy body I guess.

    Tua will win easy.

If Tua struggles AT ALL with King, it solidifies he needs to retire ASAP.

I thought he added muscle and fat. But he wanted to come in bigger, and he has. I agree, if it's competitive, or he loses, he needs to think seriously about his future. I think he trained the house down, but didn't watch as carefully what he ate.

Should be a war while it lasts.

The journey to perish bums forever continues for Tua. Won't be surprised if Bob Arum is next on their list.

King can fight when he wants to I wouldnt sleep on him.

And to those of you who call a guy a bum that climbs through the ring to make a living in one of the most noble and dangerous sports, do you feel superior while your sitting in your safe cubicle everyday waiting till you can retire like 99% of the sheep who play it safe cause they are afraid of failure? A bum, is someone who doesnt work at all and never tries. A lot of you could learn something from a guy like Demetrice.

Tua is a tank, but he's gonna have to do more than beat this guy to win me over. The barrett fiasco was disheartening for a Tuafan.

Tua went from fighting the Fox's, Salif's, Griffis's, Wheeler's in his first comeback to fighting Cameron, Friday, Barrett, and now King. A definite level up, but nowhere near who he fight pre and post Lewis. Plans are for Tua to have Barrett II in June if he beats King, and then to fight a top ten guy. Arreola is a possibility later in the year.

There won't be any movement from King, so Tua felt that he needed to add some bulk to go toe to toe with King. I disagree, and think he should have relied on his quickness and boxing skills. But I'm not the one going into the ring tonite.

This fight might end up a fan friendly war, but it does nothing for Tua's career.

Tua should be going directly to a rematch with Monte, win impressively, and then return to the hype he was riding before that slip, searching big fights.

Yeah, but he has to finish the MTV contract, and this is the last fight. Tua is looking to make some money from the Barrett rematch, and he will once he's not encumbered by the restrictive MTV contract. And he wants to test his injured shoulder, and new trainer, with King.

    i like the excuses
"i added on weight to absorb punches better"
"i need the extra weight to make him feel my punches more"

all this means is he didnt do any roadwork. doesnt like to train
