can you imagine if you hit that thing, got out expecting a complete ***** driving it and find out its david tua? lol, i'd quickly change my attitude and ask for his autograph, he might hit me if i'd ask for his insurance info
Tua's body looks old and flabby. Tua coming it at around 240 again :verysad Who the hell can take this guy's comeback seriously like that? Fighting infrequently and coming in over his ideal weight.... sounds like the Tua of old. You know, the Tua which has never won a title during his entire professional career.
If I were a heavyweight champion or just a heavyweight, the man I would least want to fight is Tua. I would be nervous before that fight for sure. Wow. That left hook. For a guy with that great a punch, he has not fought enough. He should have been champ by this point. If Rahman was, then Tua should have been since Tua beat Ruiz easily and Ruiz has been a champ several times. Just shows you how Ruiz doesn't have the power but might have more motivation. Power is not everything. So I do give Ruiz credit for perseverance and being more significant in heavyweight boxing so far. Who knows. That is all I can come up with. Why didn't he challenge Ruiz when Ruiz was champ? And look even know. Ruiz is challenging Haye in a few days and Tua is fighting Friday Ahunanya not for a title.
Tua is in better shape, at 1 kg more, than he was with Cameron. He's added muscle, and reduced fat. Friday looks older than Tua, and has a little flab on his belly. At the weigh in, I said as much to him. Everybody laughed.
You are being a little hard on him here. Remember he is 38? years old. He is about 10-15 pounds over his prime weight...but that was also 10-15 years ago. If he can throw 75% of the punches he used to...he will provide some excitement. This is his last kick at the can...hopefully he will realize this.
Tua's body is really starting to look old. It sucks to see the guys you grew up watching age. I really hope Friday pulls this off, I always liked him.
Tua gonna destroy another nobody. If he's serious about this comeback, then he's not gonna waste any more of his dwindling time beating up local/regional dudes after this one.
