Tua and Barrett to fight on December 4th

Tua is supposed to fight TBA in Aruba along with Barrett fighting a TBA. Lot depends on Tua's shoulder whether this is a goer or not. If not, Tua fights in February. He has one fight left on his MTV contract.

Tua hasn't hired Lee Parore because, according to his wife and manager, Robina Tua, they have a 2.2 million tax bill and can't afford Lee Parore.

 

Lee was good when getting Tua to drop 60 odd pounds. Now he has lost that weight he needs to just maintain his fitness.I wonder how fighters ever got ready for a fight back in the days when there was only the coach?

As far as im concerned,if a man wants something bad enough he will push himself.

Half arsedness shows how deep a mans desire really is.

Tua only needs to remember what he did with Lee and duplicate it from now on.

 

Believe he'll need your pointed stick to keep going if there's some doubt, Stormy. Nothing like a pointed stick to remind you of your mission.

 

Sounds to me like they are milking the decent bit of interest a rematch would generate, but fighting other fighters, first, before each other in a rematch.

They are nowhere near the top level and neither will ever make it back to the title level, but they are doing what they can to generate interest with what their first fight got them on this lower level.....so more power to em.

I pick Barrett by TKO in the rematch.

 

Barrett vs Tua might bring big $$$ if it's in NZ. That's what they're milking. The MTV will be over, and there would be a big gate. PPV would be a bonus.

Can Barrett get up again for the fight? I doubt it. And Tua wants revenge.
