What a great career one of the best heavyweights in the 90s and easily the best ever in the Oceania area
Oh well. No Barrett III. Thanks for...a couple of memorable nights (Ruiz and Ibeabuchi, I guess...and Cameron? :conf)
never won a world title in a era of bums and no-bodies winning belts , talk about badly managed , **** a bum like ruiz won belt after belt because he had a savy streetwise manager.
good decision. you can have all the power in the world but once the desire has been punched out of you its time to hang them up. dudes probably a millionaire, good luck to him.
I wish him luck but every retirement article always leaves room for a comeback. If he can settle his personal life some maybe he will come back focused. Sad story to hear his sleeping arrangements after making all that money. Vultures man.
The desire's gone, the money's gone and now guess what, the wife's gone. :-( A wasted talent that had the tools but sadly lacked the commitment.
wish him all the best, Kevin Barry screwed him left him with a hefty 2 million dollar bill, bloodsworth left him realising he hasn't got the desire and not getting paid in full, his current coach left him who wants to pursue legal action for not getting paid at all on his last fight, Tua left himself losing his desire to fight & most of all his wife left him for all of the above. Now Tua has a new enemy CHILD SUPPORT payments. all the best Tua
His wife left him because of the fact he doesnt want to fight anymore? He's better of without her then, the war with ike was the begginning of the end for tua that was hell on earth
I agree I can't believe in an era of world title belts being handed out by the dozen that a figthe rof Tua's ability never won one. un****enbelievable that. Biggest & best brawl out there that we never got to see was Tua V Tyson.
