Tua Retires Rather Than Face Welliver! Bring on Oliver McCall!!

    1st Briggs retires after refusing to fight Chauncy to get ranked for Wlad. Who he was calling out. Said he'd thump Welliver, got confronted, hit the back door quick.

    Then word comes that Monte Barrett goes to the WWE and retires #12 rated WBO. The 2nd WBO APAC Champion in a row that will not face Welliver. He also said he wanted another title shot. Welliver is ranked to both Klits, #7 WBC and #10 WBO.

    And now Tua...the WBO APAC Champ that ducked his interim champ Chauncy Welliver for 2, count em, 2 years! Now he chooses to retire rather than face Chauncy for the chance to get reranked for both Klits.

    Here is an exerpt from the recent Retirement Article.

    "As of right now I'm retired but I've got to wait until next year," Tua said cryptically when quizzed about his future plans. He did not elaborate but he is clearly in the twilight of his career.

    So what gives? All these guys want a Klitschko fight but they won't take a Welliver fight to get in position? Cart before the horse or what? I've been waiting 2 years for Tua vs Weliver to happen. I always thought Tua had bigger balls than this. To go out like a ducker is sad for a man of his talents.

    Maybe a miracle will happen and he will come back and be in shape. But even if he does...100% he will contiue to duck the man he fears so much...Chauncy Welliver. :bbb

    Yeah I have noticed a lot of heavyweights dont wanna fight Welliver. They dont think they we cant realize that?

    That's not the case. Welliver tries to fight guys on short notice, they balk, and then guys like this hype him up like he's a somebody.

    It keeps happening over and over again. It gets to the point were it is just ridiculous.

    Well, if they could beat Welliver like they claim blind-folded, with an arm tied behind their back, I'd think that would be a fight that they would wanna take? But they dont and evidence suggest they think otherwise than what they are saying.

    ^ Let me ask you this. Why Welliver is being so avoided then? It nots like he is hiding in a cave in Afganistan. He is out actively persuing big fights and they are consistantly being turned down.

    Messer, correctly me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Welliver just been fighting regional stiffs for most of his career? I mean, his record IS littered with a lot of palookas.

    Welliver is ducking Tyson Fury like a fat coward. He knows he'll get obliterated.

    Ask Welliver to call Fury out and I guarantee you'll see him get smashed within 6 months.

    How many of you think Welliver vs Tyson Fury would be off the chain? I think Welliver would have the potential to set the all time record for HW punches thrown and landed on big Fury....as long as the giant could stay upright for all 12. I think these 2 young guys should saddle up and give us a show?

    Welliver is putting an extinction on the Dinosaurs without even laying a hand on em. They tremble their way to their prehistoric resting places as soon as word comes that he's on his way.

    I have to say at the least they are worried about looking bad against Welliver. At worst they could leave the ring with a L on their record. The guy has spoiler written all over him.

    If you beat Welliver people will go" of course, you should". If you look bad they will go " hey whats up why did you struggle with that tough white fat guy'. If you lose to Welliver say good bye to a pay day which is what they are looking for. So people kinda dont wanna fight Welliver.
