Did you ever think that there might not be much money to be made by other guys for fighting him, and this might be why they aren't interested?? If you're pretty much unknown outside of of a few hardcore boxing fans, it's sometimes hard to financially justify making a fight.

    I already addressed this!

If he's such easy pickings, it doesn't ****ing matter. Guys would STILL be lining up to fight him, because if he's such an easy win, then getting the jump in ranking would make it worth it because it will lead to more potential earnings down the road.

This is simple stuff here, really.

At the end of the day, the guys who are rejecting fights obviously don't view him as easy pickings. That's just simple logic here, for if he was this easy win so many seem to believe, fighting him for peanuts WOULD pay off.

Oh bull****! It happens ALL THE TIME!

I have a lot of friends who are casual fans of the sport. Do you know what their reactions are whenever I tell them who the next Klitshko opponent is for either brother? The response is usually something along the lines of "Who the **** is that bum?"

Yeah! If I said Chauncy Welliver, the reaction from these fans would no doubt be the same. But these guys don't know who the hell Jean Marc Mormeck is, either.

Market research indicates that China is the next major emerging boxing venue. Welliver is popular in China. His last two fights have been in China.

what good is his ranking doing him, he hasn't beaten anyone of note in his

career to earn that ranking. he's won some minor regional titles so as

about every boxer at at time in their career, where is his one win

that you set back and go while he can be a world champion. He

doesnt have one and the reason nobody wants to fight him is because

he doesnt have a name to draw off of and he offer nothing to gain if they

defeat him, last time i checked the roar to the klitschko didnt lead through

welliver. man i saw that you were closing in on somthing like 50'000 posts

you should know boxing by heart and you cant see he's a club fighter wow

The he can stay in China and become the Chinese Heavyweight Champion or some stupid **** like that. Why fight Welliver when you can fight a Ray Austin or Bermaine Stiverne who have a promoter who can get them on TV and a decent payday?

Welliver is a waste of time even discussing him and I am done with this. The guy is club fighter level.

Even if that was true, it's far higher than you rate as a poster.

China has an untapped boxing market with a consumer base of 1,338,299,500 people. Thats a tremendous amout of money to be made. Welliver is fighting in China more than any other Hw and becoming know there.

I am taking names of all you Doubting Thomases. When you try to jump on the Welliver Nation bandwagon next year, I will personally kick you off. :hi:

Don't really care Rummy. I at least live in reality and know who is a legit contender and who isn't. The guy isn't worth anyones time. There are bigger fish to fry that people can fight and get a ranking, money, and TV exposure. That is just reality. Sorry.

Welliver should fight Chris Arreola, would be a good scrap.

If everyone is supposedly ducking Welliver then Welliver should call out other dudes with the same problem.

Call out Franklin Lawrence, Michael Grant, Seth Lawrence, Jonathan Banks, Alexander Ustinov. Keep calling out Arreola and Johnson. Call out all the heavyweights, not just easy marks like Tua.
