I call BS. Short notice? :nono The guy calls anyone and everyone on the rankings out as soon as they step into their position.

And for one thing, CW is the one who takes fights on short notice, not the other way around. There are about 1/2 dozen or so decent AMERICAN prospective contenders out here that CAN"T buy a fight with top ranked euro fighters, and literally stuck in the mud until HBO or Showtime takes notice of em.

FINALLY Seth Mitchell gets some love, and is getting a big fight, but it took Kevin Johnson getting called on his BLUFF to get HBO interested.

Welliver called Briggs bluff, and is awaiting his big fight.....and IMO when he gets it, he'll find himself on the winning end of an impressive T/KO win over a hypejob euro named Tyson Fury.:deal

And sadly, most are not even considering the big K2 payday, but instead content to simply not allow prospective contenders thier K2 title shots for fear the K2 might lose and cause them fight a new champ for the title rather than simply wait on a K2 retirement.

Ummmmmm, pretty sure CW is calling about all those guys out. And pretty sure they are lining up guys like Butler, Long, Gavern, Estrada etc etc etc . Except of course they are also looking for euroCANS as well as mexiCANS, puertoriCANS, cubaCANS and of course the ever popular tomatoCANS.

Seriously though, if any of the above named fighters would simply return the callouts with a NO answer, we'd all know what PRETENDERS they really are....I mean Butler instead of Welliver......don't think for a second that Chauncey wouldn't have kicked Calloway to the curb if Arreola had called him back.:deal

He appears to be an arm-punching fat guy, beating up other fat guys.

He also likes to beat up arm wrestling champions with no boxing experience, just to build his confidence back up after getting his ass kicked by a fat olympic gold medalist.

Lol. That is my friend Mark, fighting the battle. Was recording "On the Ropes" tonight and rummy told me about the thread. A few points... 1. We have tried to get some ranked contenders to come fight. Well, glad to inform that we are in talks with 2 to happen very early 2012. Point 2. Somebody mentioned I don't bring a big enough paych or tv. My last opponent Rob Calloway made more fighting me than Eddie Chambers & Tony Thompson were to make in their recently cancelled match up.
As far as tv goes, other than Arreola & the occassional Klitschko fight, what other heavies are on US TV. Think outside the box guys. Chinese TV brings in much more than US TV. We draw many more viwers. Sure HBO has deep pockets, but boxings just a baby in China and growing fast.

Boxing is growing in China and the Chinese boxing crowds like me. I am on the cover of all the papers, on the news and treated like a king. We have the money in China and opponents will keep getting better in time. This will be seen beginning of 2012 and on.

    Thanks:hi:

Where the hell are you guys coming from? I know for a fact that Welliver offered a rematch with a pro who has been out of the ring for 2 years. This fighter asked for a bit over a month to train, and Welliver would only give him 10 days.

On second thought, I think the reason I dislike Chauncy has less to do with him as a boxer, but with more of me as a man. I have always felt insecure about my sexuality ever since my grandfather touched my pee pee, and thumbed my anus. I'm sorry and I have to say Welliever does a great job with his radio gig "ON THE ROPES"

Well, Arreola definitely won't duck him and he'll be looking for a fight in early 2012...

On The Ropes is by far the best Boxing Show on the net. There is good reason why ESB fired the grind bumpers and replaced them with OTR.

As for Chauncy....you heard the man. 2012 is looking hot! The big fights are right around the corner. And hey, maybe even Tua will wake up on New Year's Eve and decide that he's had enough of this. Maybe he will make a resolution to grow some balls. I sure hope so. 2 years I've been waiting for this fight to happen. :deal
