I think Chauncy should try and set something up with McCall again.....the Wach fight got called off, so he is free to fight, and he should be in pretty good shape

Welliver vs. McCall....stacy make it happen!

Yeah but we need to get to the bottom of the story of just what exactly happend to Mccall all of sudden? For all I know he could of relapsed and be laying on the couch smokin crack.

Fairly sure McCall prolly bailed for health reasons, but Wach is now fighting Gavern as you prolly know. I got nothing against JG as a fighter, but seriously, IMO, Calloway is slightly better overall, even at 40 y/o.

Would love to see Big P up against Wach, except 2 of my favs in the same ring would be rough, but when the K2 are gone, it's likely to be Chauncey, Helenius, and Mitchell, along with an older Potvetkin scrambling to pick up the titles. So eventually this fight is likely to happen anyways sometime near int he future. Hell, why not next month. Chauncey is still in excellent shape, took very little damage from the Calloway exchanges, and definitely has the chin to take Wachs best, and the tempo and power to possibly pull out a HUGE win.
Hell, honestly a win for either would be career defining IMO.

Let's hope it's just age catching up to him. I mean he has some highly credible wins over the last decade, and while many of us KNOW him to be an ATG underachiever, we all mostly agree that we don't need to see him get another HW title crack. No PUN intended.

Seriously T, let's hope it's a strained back or leg muscle. :deal

Hopefully. But its gotta make you wonder when it seems to be top secret what happend to Mccall.

Their lips are sealed and they are not gonna explain why Mccall vs Wach is not happening. A simple explantion would be nice, especially to the the people who bought tickets to the event.

Oliver vs Chauncy? The 2 biggest HW chins there is. I'd be happy with that fight. Stacy won't make it happen though. LOL But, Stacy can make it happen for Chauncy's last opponent. I brought an idea to Rob Calloway to headline a pro am card at SOB. Get him a fight he can win fairly easily as the main event. Then have Chase open the show in an ameteur bout, also feature the Kapner Boys in Am Fights, maybe even Scottie Goodson too. It's a great way to bring hype to these young am fighters. And it can either be streamed to the net or released next day match by match on you tube. Rob liked the idea. He could pass the torch Calloway to Calloway. Add a Kid Goodnight fight and maybe a Matt vs Rufus match for the TPS Title, maybe a couple more pro or am matches. It would be a sweet little card for very managable cost.

Chauncy has Chinese Stacys On Steroids. He should be fighting top dogs there soon, or fighting top dogs in Germany, Russia or major USA venues. McCall would be a good fight, Evan Fields, winner of Grant vs Botha, if Big Daddy Bowe wants a shot again Chauncy can end that **** in about 6 minutes.

If they went the younger guy route, Seth Mitchell would be good for me. I normally root for Spartans but he'd get sacked. Tyson Fury is my #1 dream match right now. I'd also like to see Big Price taken down a notch by Chauncy. Chisora could be an option too, though his stock is about on par with a sack of potatoes. David Rodriguez is another guy who Chauncy could expose for the HW fans. Erik Molina is another. But against 1 of those Mexicans, Chauncy should be on TV. Lots of options at HW for 2012.

I loved the Welliver OTR Segment! Welliver Promotions! Jan. 19th in New Zealand. Watch out Don King, Bob Arum, Richard Scheister of GB, ******, Saurland, etc. Your time is limited!

Great news for the sport of boxing. We need class guys like Chauncy to come up and replace the cronies who are currently running this game. Waaaarrrr Welliver!
