    Scene it

Tuaman has hung his gloves up,

Fair play to him, a good call IMO. He's a senior cleaner now. Far cry from his prime days where he was earning great money.

    Yeah, probably for the best.

  4. Aye, it's the right decision.

Being smacked around by an old, shot Monte Barrett wasn't great viewing, even though I wanted Barrett to beat him.

In a weird way he's gained more notoriety than a fighter of his ability ought to have done, yet his career is unfulfilled.....

Can't believe he never won a portion of the World Title.

    Good for him.

Tua was overrated slightly, imo. Definitely good enough to pick up some sort of strap in this watered down era, but he really wasn't as good as he was sold early on. He was a pressure fighter who didn't understand how to pressure fight properly. I call him the heavyweight Rocky Juarez. If you did the right things he would allow himself to be overcome. If you know what i mean.

He was not a truth machine and his variety wasn't good enough. Take away his left hook and the job was pretty much done. It was frustrating watching him at times because he did have certain tools to achieve more. He didn't fight with a sense of urgency.

He defeated a few former champs and future champs but never became one himself. He had a nice run with top KO's. Fair well to the Tuaman!

Good move, he's finished. Unfortunately he's also broke so I'm not sure if it will stick.

Shame, but it's what's needed at this stage of his career.

He lost that killer instinct, and once that went it was all over for him.

Still, he's gave us some frightening knockouts though ;-)

Been a key plsyer of many fights for me growing up, i remember thinking he was indesructable the way he was built up against Lennox, take him for what he was now all things considered and that is great contender. Enjoy retirement and dont diminish it by taking pointless fights...

Tua was a beast in his hayday. Should have held a version of the world titles.

Shame. I was looking forward to him against Danny Williams for a middleweight title.

That Ruiz knockout was insane. The last punch when he was almost down was sickening.
