well Tua certainly didn't look like he was in good shape and he was unmotivated.. That certainly wasn't a good showing of TTua. I don't think he would get shut out. I'm just curious to how wladmir will take that left hook =/ Actually, he isn't a one handed fighter since he has an alright double jab and a good right hand and right uppercut. I think it would be a decent fight since tua wouldnt just be fighting to survive, he would be FIGHTING.
How on earth did Tua leapfrog to the top of the WBO rankings like that? If Friday had won the fight, would he have been the #1 contender? I kind of doubt it. Maybe I shouldn't argue but seems convenient.
Agree with all of this. Anyway, that article is talking nothing but optimisic bull****. No way in **** Wlad will ever get in the ring with Tua unless he absolutely has to and David has yet to face anyone to create that kind of demand.
He has a bad contract with Maori TV so needs 2 more lowball fights to get through. Then he can step up. He looks pretty good to me. Power still definitely there.
You know, I would hope Tua would be fighting. That is easier said than done for a man with Tua's lack of height and reach. Tua isn't as fast as when he fought Ruiz, Ibeabuchi, Rahman the first time, etc. I really couldn't imagine Tua winning a round, but why did I still say that I wouldn't mind seeing it? Because Tua can PUNCH and that always makes it interesting. Especially, when the World Champion doesn't have a chin made of iron.
I wish Tua would go the WBA route and fight Haye, doesn't that sound better. I think Tua is like 5'11, He is giving up so much height and reach to either Klit it is just to much to ask of him, I am afraid. I think he KO's Haye though via hayemaker.
Tua would lose badly against both Klitschko's. I'm not impressed about his win over Friday. His best chance is against Haye, and that fight will probably never happen....
Watching Wladimir pound the **** outta David Tua for 12 rounds would be fun no? But, chances are Wlad would be the first to KO the Tuaman. :deal
Tua gets his high ranking by holding a couple of the WBO regional titles. These were the same titles that Shane Cameron held who was ranked number seven by the WBO despite no one ever having heard of him.
