I figured maybe Tua fought Timur Ibragimov but I'm sure I would've heard about him fighting Sultan. Sultan had no losses & 1 draw before he fought Wladimir.
You arent comparing 18 year old Tua vs 25 year old defending world champion Savon to 25 year old Ibragimov vs 33 year old about to retire Savon are you? Tua at that age was in against Ruiz, Wilson, Izon, Maskaev and Ibeabuchi not still fighting four rounders with headgear
This, I'd even go as far as too say Tua would get stopped late... He is still dangerous, but Cameron isn't exactly the greatest fighter out there that fight just proved Tua isn't totally old and shot, but he is not what he was that is for sure...
Tua seems to be better physically and mentally than he was for the Lewis fight and I dont believe Wlad is as good as Lewis was. Wlad should win especially in a big ring but I wonder if Wlad has fought anyone of Tuas stature and how he will cope with the angles that Tuas shots will be coming from
I think if there was just one punch hitting K's head, it would no longer be boring - but a riveting match. Which modern HW has felt power like that??
This is pretty much how I see it, but Tua may not be as finished as we think. But finished or not, even if Tua is hitting on all cylinders, the much more skilled and bigger Wlad stilll keeps Tua on the end of his jab and brutalizes him to stop Tua by late TKO.
Wlad would school Tua. Anyways, I don't see that fight coming any soon. Wlad will fight Haye or Povetkin next.
At this point in Tua's career he gets massacred by Wlad. This fight has little interest except if Wlad can be the first guy to ko Tua. I think he does. If this fight happens Wlad wins by late ko after winning almost every second of every round.
You guys have not been watching the new Tua You still think he's the old "plodder" He's not - and he will give Wlad trouble
