TUA to FIGHT KLITSCHKO??

Wladimir has a nasty habit of stopping fighters that have never been stopped :deal

 

If they fight Wlad will crack Tua's jaw.

 

I like the notion that Tua is somehow a rejuvinated, peak-form fighter after almost a decade of ****. Doesn't work that way, and flattering wins over journeymen don't fool me.

Klitschko busts him up in his ever so methodical style and stops him late, corner retirement or something.

 

I agree. For those saying Wlad never fought anyone like Tua, Wlad fought Peter, who is a better overall boxer than Tua.

Who has Tua fought that fights similar to Wladimir with similar strengths? Lewis, and how did that turn out for Tua?

 

It seems some posters here think that the younger, fresher Tua was the better version, & some posters think the current Tua has learned a few things and won't be as raw as the earlier version.

Either way I can guarantee when Wlad wins everyone will claim Tua was "shot." That's the way ESB rolls....................:yep :-(

 

How old is David Tua now? That would have an impact on how much it could potentially add to Klitschko's legacy. If Tua is like 38 then people will say he was past it. If he's like 32 or so that's the age most Heavys tend to "peak."

 

He's dangerous, sure. He has a big punch. He also hasn't fought a live opponent since - arguably - Rahman in 2003 (who outboxed him comfortably). In fact, this century Lewis, Byrd and Rahman are the only top names on his record (and only one is elite) and, frankly, he lost all three of them, regardless of the Rahman fight being official pegged as a draw.

 

I can see Wladimir shutting Tua out very comfortably. Though Tua is a MUCH better finisher when he gets his man hurt compared to Sam Peter, he will not land anything to put Wladimir in danger at this point. Wlad has settled into his new style, which happens to be one that Tua has no answer for.

I doubt this fight even comes off soon, if ever.

 

Tua is **** now, and got embarrassed by Lewis 10 years ago, who is similar to the Klits.

 

Peter has NEVER stopped a credible opponent. Oh wait, McCline maybe.

Tua has KO wins over John Ruiz, prime undefeated Hasim Rahman, Oleg Maskaev, Michael Moorer and an undefeated Fres Oquendo.

He lost a razor-thin, arguable decision to Ike, lost a comfortable decision to prime Byrd, and was shutout by prime Lewis. That's three losses total in his entire career. And he has never been KDed, let alone stopped like Peter has.

Lewis tamed Tua, but 38 year old Vitali beat the living **** out of Sam Peter and stopped him. And scared Wlad had him reeling as well.

If they fight Wlad will win by stoppage or 12-0 UD, but Tua is better and more legit than Peter. His legendary KO of Ruiz by itself trumps all of Peter's wins put together, and all Tua's losses are legit. One disputed decision to probably the biggest HW waste of talent in the last 20 years, one to prime Chris Byrd and a wide decision in one of a top-2 ATG's best fights.

And I tell you one thing. If Tua gets Wlad stumbling around like Peter did, he won't let him off the hook. Find me ANY guy who was knocked down and shaken against Tua and made it out of the round. NOBODY does. He is one of the heavyweight division's greatest-ever finishers, he can spark world-class guys in 30 seconds, and he has shown repeatedly that he can come up with come-from-behind KOs in the late rounds when the other guy gets tired and stands in front of him too much.

Ruskull, Tua is 37. Tua's best years were with Lou Duva. He's looking real good in his last two fights, which I saw live. Does he have it in him to get to Wlad? I honestly don't know. But is there anyone out there capable of beating Wlad other than Tua? Don't think so. And if Tua fights and stops an Arreola or Peter, would you give him a 50/50 chance of beating Wlad?

 

Tua can take wlads shots.............sum were in the bout wlads gonna get hit........and its gonna be the hardest hes ever been hit/call me crazy david tua knocks out wlad..../.

 

Tua's movement is slower than that of continental drift! Anybody that sees his last two fights VS Shame Cameron and Friday will see this unless you're delusional.

This WBO ranking is bull**** and in the sport of professional boxing, Wlad won't want to get in the ring with him at this stage because it isn't maximizing his $$$ earnings.

Despite what you fanboys may think, Tua is well out of contention thankfully. If he wants to become apparent to boxing fans, then he should fight a top #10 contender not a bum-of-the-month. Maybe he should fight the winner of Botha-Holyfield? I would bet that he would lose that match!

Wlad's chin wouldn't even get tested against Tua. His lower body might get reddened slightly but, in doing so Tua would get pizza-faced. Wlad, very easy UD - or even a late stoppage. :deal

Also, Tua would need to be down below 220 to have a 1% chance against Wlad or Vitali. Even Chambers should have been a lot less than he was.
